Assessment: On ride.

1. What is your reaction: A high functioning ride that is well thought out and put together from the outstanding music to the choreographed lighting. A very fun and amusing ride with witty banter and reasonably nice graphics and mechanics. A bit cheesy but that's what keeps the ride light-hearted and amusing. The effects choreographed nicely with the sound and lighting. The contrast of mechanical people to the digital representations of them isn't too jarring and works well for the places its put in. 2. What connections did you make with the work viewed? It was based on different aspects of the Pirates world but still was its own story while using the pre-existing characters. It worked well enough and was easy to follow along with, even in a different language. The iconic Wakandan Palace stands proudly in the center of the park and can be seen from anywhere. A stunning 71 story hotel lies within the palace and surrounding it is a hub of futuristic and modern technology. The Wakandan Market is where the merchant tribe flourishes and many shops are set up in a circular formation surrounding the palace. They serve vendor-styled food in the theme of traditional Wakandan dishes. Two main restaurants stand bordering the market. The main dishes are based on rich vibrant stews, porridges, and pottages. The farther away from the center of Wakanda, the more rural and open it becomes with ample room to run and play. Ovidius is a dying planet. That was once lush in vibrant colorful algae that ruled over the planet’s surface.  The planet was the perfect breeding ground for a parasitic planet conquering creatures that took over it and proceeded to send the planet into a downward spiral to its inevitable death. The core of the planet not very stable and erupts occasionally in many different ways creating volcanic cakes and other new land masses that the seas swallow up. The parasitic creatures that dwell on it, took advantage of this and used the premade volcanic caverns to burrow further into the planet to feast on its core and breed there. It is racked with storms and volcanic explosions from severe storms from its humid atmosphere! The volcanic storms can only be calmed by the vast oceans that surround what is left of the land. Character #1 Tally

Tally is the grandfather clock of Addersfield that lost his leg over time and now walks with a limp and a metal leg. He uses an old gnarled stick as a cane with tally marks all over it, which he taps along the ground in rhythm to his ticking. He lives in an old shanty home that resembles a pile of old furniture. old couches and tables stacked and pushed together to resemble a house. the walls of the house are littered in tally marks as he likes to count the days that go away and add them to his walls. With a large garden out front and an old well further back from his house. Towards the east, Tally can see a small cluster of flowers sprouting in his garden, he loves to watch the new seeds grow and sprout new and beautiful flowers of all sorts. watching things grow is what keeps the old clock ticking. Towards the south, Tally goes to collect different seeds, fruits, and flowers that he can use to pollinate his garden and grow new and exciting things.  He collects them along the bo
